2022
We conducted a community drop-in session at Boughton Village Hall. We sent a mail shot to 1900 homes within Boughton under Blean, Oversland, Crouch, Gushmere and Selling inviting people to the event. Over 100 residents attended and they were asked to provide written feedback. This was our most impactful engagement with the community to date and affected significant change of the Masterplan proposals.
2020
Stakeholders were provided with a 90minute On-line Community Engagement Workshop. We invited residents and local Parish, District and County councilors and the local MP. The event was publicised through relevant Facebook groups as well as direct invitation. Participants had the opportunity to discuss their hopes, aspirations and concerns attached to the scheme. The issues and themes raised fed into the development of the Masterplan.
2022
We widened our focus of our engagement to include audiences in Canterbury and wider East Kent community. We invited 24 key stakeholders from local businesses, charities, and local government among others. It was a very successful event and our team had the opportunity to respond to some poignant questions.
